Terms of Service

Acceptance

PageSage (“we”, “us”) is operated by an independent developer. By installing or using PageSage, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please don’t use the service.

The service

PageSage is a browser extension that summarizes articles and YouTube videos and answers follow-up questions, using an AI model. “Honest summaries” means we don’t play credit games and we don’t deliberately pad output — but AI can be wrong or incomplete, so please don’t rely on a summary as your only source for anything important. Always check the original when it matters.

Accounts & acceptable use

You are responsible for activity under your account. Please do not:

• abuse, overload, or attempt to disrupt the service;
• access it through automated or bulk means, or try to circumvent quotas or rate limits;
• use it to summarize or process content you have no right to access.

Plans & payment

PageSage offers free tiers (currently 3 summaries per day anonymously, and 10 per day with a free account) and a paid Pro plan with a higher daily allowance. Pricing is shown at checkout.

Pro is sold through LemonSqueezy, which acts as our Merchant of Record. This means LemonSqueezy is the seller of record for your purchase and handles payment processing, sales tax, and invoicing. Your purchase is therefore also subject to the LemonSqueezy Buyer Terms.

Refunds

We offer a 7-day, no-questions-asked refund on the Pro subscription. Email hi@pagesage.net within 7 days of your payment and we’ll arrange it; refunds are processed through LemonSqueezy.

Bring your own API key

You may optionally use your own DeepSeek API key. If you do, you are responsible for its use and any costs your provider charges you. Your key stays in your browser and is sent directly to DeepSeek; we never receive it.

Availability

We provide PageSage on a best-effort basis, without a guaranteed service level. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Because PageSage depends on third parties (such as the AI provider), interruptions outside our control can happen.

Intellectual property

You keep all rights to the content you submit and the summaries you generate. We keep all rights to the PageSage software and brand. If you believe content accessed through the service infringes your rights, contact hi@pagesage.net (DMCA / IP notices).

Disclaimer & limitation of liability

PageSage and its AI output are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, including accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the claim.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and any disputes will be handled in the courts of that jurisdiction.

Termination, changes & contact

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms. We may update these Terms; the date at the top reflects the latest version, and continued use means you accept the changes. Questions? Email hi@pagesage.net.
